Political strategy as a discipline has been around for a long time. From ancient civilizations’ brilliant strategists to modern-day strategists, political strategy has been able for thousands of years to establish, maintain and protect human societies. Although political strategy is usually used in political settings, it has a set of deep principles and ideas which, when applied to any area in life, take everything to the next level.

II. Public relations: it’s not just about image, it’s a lot about relationships (you and your public, social consciousness, community organizing, group building, support).

About the speaker: 

Hind Ziane:

Hind Ziane is the founder and CEO of Génération politique, a political strategy and public relations company based in Paris. Génération politique was created in 2018, in a tense political and social context in France, first aiming to improve the relationship between citizens and politicians.

The company has ever since been working with both public and private actors on issues ranging from strategic planning, structural overhaul, citizen engagement, campaigning, to public relations, leadership and business development.

Before creating her company, Hind Ziane worked several years with American politicians (Obama administration, House of representatives) on both domestic and international issues. She worked on a close collaboration with institutions such as UNESCO, the White House or the USAID.

Her experience with American institutions was completed by an experience in the French private and public sector, focusing mainly on public administration and public affairs.

As a speaker, Hind Ziane intervenes in several local, national and foreign conferences. She is passionate about what she does, and always looks to share with others ideas and practical tools that can help them fix their issues through her political lens.

Hind Ziane graduated from Sciences Po Paris, the Paris Institute of Political Studies, where she specialized in public affairs.
